Lodge St Servanus No. 771 Masonic Lodge

We hope that you will find this website informative about Freemasonry in general and Lodge St Servanus in particular.

Firstly a site navigation tip - no matter where you are on our website clicking on the Lodge Crest (top left hand side of every page) will bring you back to this page.

As well as keeping our members, fellow freemasons and non-masonic visitors informed about our history, meetings and social events, one of the aims of this website is to inform the general public about Freemasonry and to increase awareness of who we are and what we do.

Contrary to popular belief, freemasonry is not a secret society. Indeed the opposite is the case as our laws and bye-laws make it compulsory that we advertise the time, date and location of our lodge meetings, usually within the local press - hardly the actions of a secret society!

Freemasonry is a fraternal society that expects a high standard of personal conduct of its members and has a longstanding tradition of care and concern for family, friends and for the wider community.

This link to Frequently Asked Questions will hopefully answer some more questions you may have about Freemasonry.

We hope that the information you find within the pages of our web site will further stimulate your interest in freemasonry and you are cordially invited to make contact with us should you wish to find out a little more.

I extend warmest greetings to all our website visitors.

Bro. R. Russell McKendrick P.M.
Right Worshipful Master
