STAY SAFE PROTECT OTHERS SAVE LIVES
Welcome to the website of Lodge St Servanus No. 771. We are located in the hillfoots town of Alva, Clackmannanshire, Scotland.
We hope that you will find this website informative about Freemasonry in general and Lodge St Servanus in particular.
As well as keeping our members and masonic visitors informed about our meetings, social events and history, one of the aims of this website is to inform the general public about Freemasonry and to increase awareness of who we are and what we do.
Contrary to popular belief, freemasonry is not a secret society. Indeed the opposite is the case as our laws and bye-laws make it compulsory that we advertise the time, date and location of our lodge meetings, usually within the local press – hardly the actions of a secret society!
Freemasonry is a fraternal society that expects a high standard of personal conduct of its members and has a longstanding tradition of care and concern for family, friends and for the wider community.
This link to Frequently Asked Questions will hopefully answer some more questions you may have about Freemasonry.
We hope that the information you find within the pages of our web site will further stimulate your interest in freemasonry and you are cordially invited to make contact with us should you wish to find out a little more.
I extend warmest greetings to all our website visitors.
Bro. R. Russell McKendrick P.M.
Right Worshipful Master
